RIA design partner program
Help shape an AI-native operating model for your firm. We’re looking for a pilot partner to develop the right workflows, validate the approach, and integrate with the software your team already uses.
Illustrative, efficiency-only, for a $750M, 6-advisor firm — run your own numbers in the ROI calculator.
Strategy, not tools
Your firm's knowledge — explicit and institutional — is the edge AI runs on. Insist on complete, unrestricted access to your data and everything built on it: the working model of your firm, its history, the models trained on it. If a vendor won't give it, that's a moat around your own information, not an asset you own.
AI models are becoming a commodity — better and cheaper every year. Keep them rented and replaceable: routed to the right model per task, swapped the day a better one ships, while you own the operating system around them. Rent the intelligence; own the harness.
You are the adviser — not the software. A named person at your firm approves anything client-facing as the author of record, and compliance is built into how the system works, not bolted on after the fact.
Every workflow runs on one connected model of your firm, and every approval your people make makes it smarter — so the tenth job costs a fraction of the first. Build an asset that's worth more the longer it runs, not a subscription that expires.
The opportunity
Most AI tools deliver only "modest" ROI because they bolt onto fragmented systems. CloudLink is different: we install an operating model, not a point tool — and because an RIA's revenue scales with assets, not hours, every hour reclaimed compounds into margin, capacity, and growth.
There is a deeper shift underneath the hours. The firm of the past was built around the bottleneck of human execution — headcount to get the work done. As agents absorb that busywork, the bottleneck moves to judgment — and for a fiduciary, judgment is exactly what you already sell. We don't automate your advisors' thinking; we clear away everything crowding it out.
The Ownership Line: rent what's becoming a commodity, own what compounds.
Owned — by you, and it compounds
Rented — routed per task, swapped anytime
A model upgrade is a routing change. A vendor swap is an integration project. Neither touches what you own.
How it works
Your firm — households, accounts, positions, communications, plans — expressed as typed objects, governed links, and permitted actions, with integrations to Microsoft 365, CRM, custodian/portfolio, and planning to be scoped and validated with a pilot firm. AI can act reliably on structure it can't on loose text. Your existing systems stay the system of record.
Reusable patterns — gather & summarize, draft for review, reconcile & flag, monitor & alert — handle the work between human judgments.
A person approves anything client-facing, advice-related, or recordkeeping-relevant before it's sent, recorded, or acted on.
The proposed design records actions, drafts, approvals, and decisions in a tamper-evident log. Operational controls must be validated in the pilot environment.
Why RIAs win with AI
Efficiency compounds. Fee-on-AUM means reclaimed time becomes margin, capacity, or growth — not just a saved cost.
It already lives in a few known systems. A unified, AI-ready model of the firm is achievable — solving the #1 barrier (fragmentation) by design.
Human review is native. Advisors already approve client work, so human-in-the-loop AI is no friction at all.
Proven beats novel. Most firms get little from point AI; an integrated model must demonstrate its value and controls in practice.
